| The card works just fine, but
the advertising scheme that got me to enroll promised "free
round trip air fare." This "free" air fare turned
out to be contingent upon booking hotel reservations for a minimum
of one week at very expensive resorts. As soon as I can, I will
switch this card with another one that is more honest in their

I had been looking for a credit
card with a flat cash rebate program unlike the stepped rewards
offered by Bank of America and other banks. The interest rate
doesn't really matter to me, but it does come with a (so-called)
fixed interest rate at 9%. Since it is a Platinum Plus visa
card, it comes with some added perks like rental car collision
waiver and travel accident insurance. - Tony
